Awareness
Most people cruise threw life on
automatic pilot with a low level of
awareness.
Awareness is
integral to responding in a desired way instead of
reacting without thought. In other words
awareness helps us to stop or pause and to
consciously choose our actions in the moment without
reacting automatically out of habit and in a
conditioned way.

Business Coaching
This is a very wide and general term
for coaching someone in business. It may be that the client
wants to plan a new business, wants to buy a business, or
goals related to the current business. For example business
strategy, marketing strategy and planning, staff
management, confidence building, communication skills, or
stress management. It happens that even
though the coaching begins as business coaching it can lead
into personal coaching.

Career
Coaching
The client may choose to focus on
changing his career, on interpersonal communication skills,
on the interview process, on work life balance or any area
related to his career.
Coachable
Any person that is ripe for improving
their life is coachable. Coaching can be a very
transformative process where any areas of the person’s life
are coachable.
Clutter
Clutter is a disordered or confused
state which influences ones effectiveness and influences
your life on many different levels: physical, mental, and
emotional.
Clearing clutter is an important step in maintaining
good Feng Shui, and can greatly
improve many life areas.
Consciousness
This is synonym for awareness. To be conscious allows us
to respond with purpose and intention in the
moment.
Consciousness is a state of full awareness.
It
allows us to be gentle with ourselves and to grasp
the jewel, which is the opportunity for personal
growth out of every situation.
Counseling or
Therapy
A client who has a particular problem
may go for counseling or therapy to a professional in the
particular field of concern. There are many different types
of therapy available; Family, Gestalt, Art, Alternative
etc. Therapists may work in the present or delve into the
past history of the client in order to help the client.
This is different to coaching which is goal orientated and
not focused on a problem, rather on an area where the
client wants to improve on.

Executive
Coaching
This is one-on-one coaching with a
business executive where the executive may set personal or
business oriented goals. Goals vary according the
individual and what at that time will make the most
difference in the client’s life. The coaching goals may be
set to optimize leadership, management or communication
skills of the executive.

Feng
Shui
This is an ancient Chinese practice of
arranging and clearing of your physical surroundings so
that Chi or life force energy flows in a way that promotes
health, happiness and prosperity.
Formal
Meditation
There are many different kinds of
mediation practices. Some involve movement
like Yoga or Tai Chi and some are still and silent like
Vipassana.
When
one practices formal mediation then usually there is
a time set aside during the day for this formal
mediation practice. Formal meditation
is self transformative.

Health is related to many different
factors, like ones genes, nutrition, environment, mental and emotional
wellbeing.
Medical
journals list more than 100 psychosomatic
illnesses.
Today, much more weight is given to the affect of our
mental state of mind and our emotions and how they impact
our health.

Informal Mediation
It is possible to practice awareness
in everything we do in our daily lives; for example during
eating, drinking, driving, showering, becoming still for a
few moments and following your breath. All activities that make
up our lives are an opportunity for us to be present,
focused, composed and aware in that moment or that
activity. In
this respect it is a form of informal mediation.
Intuition
Intuition is about connecting to your
inner voice which is your guide and your wisdom.

Life
Coaching
A proactive person who wants to attain
certain life goals may embark on life
coaching.
If we take an example of a persons potential ranging
from 1-10 then the person may feel that he is
currently a 5 in a certain life area and would like
to be an 8. Life coaching is a
process of self inquiry and insight. It creates clarity,
thus shedding light, creating awareness and leading
to transformation and positive change.
Life
Coach
A sports coach is someone who helps
the sportsman to become a better
sportsman.
The top sportsmen have coaches. When a client wants
to reach a higher potential, he may contract a Life
Coach to work on a certain life area together with
the coach’s encouragement and reflection. A Life Coach can
also reflect to the client certain beliefs that may
be preventing the client from advancing in a certain
life area.
Lifestyle Coaching
This coaching is related to setting
goals towards maintaining a healthier and balanced
lifestyle. It
is therefore related to taking a look at all the life areas
which may be out of balance and also particularly at the
clients health, wellbeing and level of fitness.

Meditation
Meditation is a word that is often
misconceived.
Many think it is a state of relaxation that is reached,
which can happen, however this is not the main purpose of
meditation.
Meditation is a meeting with yourself. When we meet with
ourselves we can encounter various thoughts, emotions and
physical sensations. The practice of
meditation assists us in being more conscious and aware of
the moments in our life as they unfold and being able to
meet them mindfully. When committed to as a
daily practice, It can be most self transformative.
Mental
Clutter
Mental Clutter is related to confusion
and disorganization within our thoughts and
mindset.
Mental clutter has many negative affects and can influence
every client in a different way. The person may be less
focused. It
may lead to procrastination, a difficulty in decision
making or a continual questioning of those decisions
made. A
monkey-mind is that which is filled of unconscious mental
clutter.
Mentor
A mentor is a guide, a coach, someone
who has gone down the road you want to travel.
Mentoring
This is about someone who helps you
achieve your goals in a non-threatening, productive and
supportive way.
Milestone
In coaching, the client will define
goals that he wants to achieve. The coach together with
the client may set milestones along the way to monitor and
measure the effectiveness of the
coaching.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is about paying close
attention to each moment in your life in a gently
non-judgmental way. Mindfulness practice can
be life transforming as awareness grows, resistance falls
away and mindfulness leads to more and more self
development.
Motivation
Motivation is important in coaching
and in achieving each milestone
set. A
client needs to be motivated in order to perform actions
that he sets out to do. Motivation can drop if
the action is not in keeping with the client’s values, is too early or too much for the
client to do at the particular time, or one selected by the
coach and not committed to by the client. A good coach will check
all of this.

Nutrition
Nutrition or healthy eating is
cornerstone to maintaining a healthy
lifestyle.
Nourishing your physical body with a good eating
lifestyle leads to a greater sense of wellbeing and a
higher level of energy.

Personal
Growth
Life coaching leads to personal
growth. Often
the growth will occur in areas that are not directly worked
on together with the coach. The reason for this is
that the client has made a personal pact with himself
towards positive change by engaging in the coaching and
thus many areas of his life are influenced simultaneously
as they are interrelated directly or indirectly.
Physical
Clutter
This is clutter
which is related to material physical
objects.
This clutter is can be divided into three different
categories. The first is the
clutter that is not used and that we do not
love.
The second category is disorganization, which means
that our physical belongings or that of others around
us is in disarray. The third category
is too many things in a small place which is
overcrowding and does not allow for room to breath.
Clearing
physical clutter can have a remarkable number of
positive influences on our lives.

When a client feels that his life is
out of balance, that he is overworked and stressed out, or
that he does not spend enough time in personal activities
in his life and/or with his family then that person may
want to be coached in the area of Work life balance.
